Edward is a fusion physicist and engineer with over two decades of experience in plasma modeling and experimental reactor research. He earned his PhD in Nuclear Engineering / Engineering Physics from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and has conducted research at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. At Zephyr Fusion, Edward shapes the company’s vision and strategy, guiding the development of scalable fusion power for space.
Galen is a plasma physicist with extensive experience in experimental diagnostics and fusion plasma research, including work at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. He holds a degree in Engineering Physics from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and has collaborated with his co-founder since their early tokamak research days. At Zephyr Fusion, Galen leads the technical development of the company’s compact, in-orbit fusion systems.
